Maths

Weekly maths homework is published on Google Classroom each Wednesday and is due in by the following Wednesday. Questions build on children's previous learning. Children are encouraged to complete the sheet and mark it using the answers. 

Times Tables

Children are expected to complete TimesTables Rockstars daily. By the end of Year 4 children should be fluent in all their tables. 

Reading

Children are provided with banded reading books (QTS books) for them to read across the week. It is expected that children read for at least 15 minutes a day before or after school. Each week the children can change their QTS books. 

Homework Menu

On Google Classroom a menu of 10 tasks will be published. The tasks relate to the learning children complete across the term. Children can pick and choose which tasks to complete and when. The deadline for these homework tasks are the end of a full term: Christmas, Easter, Summer Holiday.
