Mr Osborn - Headteacher

Dan Osborn - Headteacher - The Spring Partnership Trust | LinkedInMr Osborn is very proud to be the Headteacher of Midfield Primary School. As Headteacher, Mr Osborn has overall responsibility for the strategic and operational day to day running of the school where he looks after the wonderful pupils and staff. 

Mr Osborn is an experienced Headteacher having led another school in the Bromley borough before joining Midfield and the Spring Partnership Trust.  Previously, he held a number of senior leadership positions for many years in different schools. As a Teacher, Mr Osborn worked across Medway, Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley and also trained and taught others as a Music and Primary Language specialist. He is committed to high expectations and ensures consistently high standards for teaching and learning at Midfield. Mr Osborn also believes in and values the importance of developing children's confidence, self-esteem and resilience which will equip them with the necessary tools to overcome challenges and be ready for the next phase of their learning. He is passionate about challenge, inclusion, social mobility and opportunities which lead to aspirational outcomes. 

Even outside of school, Mr Osborn is dedicated to supporting others and sits on the SENd Governance and All-Age Autism Partnership Boards for the London Borough of Bromley.

When Mr Osborn is not working, he loves to be at home with his wife and three small children. Mr Osborn enjoys reading, visiting the cinema, going to the theatre and lots of other family activities which keep him very busy.  

 Mr Le Conte - Deputy Headteacher

Mr Le Conte is the Deputy Headteacher with a core responsibility for leading the curriculum. He has also been a key member of a team of staff who have been developing the schools commitment towards Outdoor Learning and Sustainability.  Mr Le Conte has been instrumental in developing exceptional CPD for teachers at Midfield including those in the early parts of their career. Mr Le Conte has also spent many years developing his own areas of expetise in leadership and successfully completed the NPQH a number of years ago. In addition to his role at Midfield, Mr Le Conte is a CPD facilitator on a number of accredited programmes for Teachers in schools across the borough of Bromley. 

Mr Le Conte has worked at Midfield for the past twenty years and has been a committed member of the school staff, supporting the leadership team throughout a period of continued improvement. He is a passionate teacher who gets tremendous fulfillment from inspiring children to achieve their best in their learning.   He lives with his partner and has two children and loves his family. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis and golf.

 Ms Moyle - Assistant Headteacher

Ms Moyle is the Assistant Headteacher and leads English and Phonics at Midfield.  Ms Moyle is also the EYFS Leader for the Spring Partnership Trust and is a recognised Senior Leader for Education (SLE) in Early Years. After going to Lancaster University she taught English in Lithuania, Portugal and Egypt before doing a PGCE at the Institute of Education (UCL), specialising in Early years and KS1. She has been teaching for over 20 years and amongst other roles taught for many years in Reception and KS1 in Central London. After this she moved to teach in Gravesend, working for a number of years as a specialist teacher for children with additional languages and working with the DFE and the International Council of Human Rights on inclusion.

In addition to her role as Assistant Headteacher at Midfield Primary School, Ms Moyle also works as a professional development facilitator for the Thames South Teaching Hub where she gets to utilise and share with others her expertise; working with schools and teachers across Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich. 

After all of that, when (and if) she has any spare time, she likes photography, films, sport and visiting Cornwall where her family is from.

Miss Major - Assistant Headteacher & SENCO 

Miss Major is our Assistant Headteacher and SENCO working alongside Mrs Brooks whom she job-shares with. Miss Major began her career in education supporting children with special educational needs in a specialist setting before moving to mainstream education. Miss Major completed a degree in Childhood Studies, specialising in SENd before qualifying as a Teacher. She has taught for many years and across Key Stages and additionally lead Personal Social and Emotional Development across the Primary Phase. Miss Major is dedicated to ensuring high quality provision for all children, including those with SENd.

Outside of Midfield, Miss Major enjoys spending time with her family, going for long walks and playing badminton.

Mrs Brooks - Assistant Headteacher & SENCO 

Mrs Brooks is our Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for SEN working alongside Miss Major. She began her career in education teaching in Year 5 in Harrow. Mrs Brooks completed her BA (QTS) and a specialism in English, her masters in education, her NPQSL and her NPQH focusing on inclusion within the primary setting. She has taught across Key Stages and has lead English, Assessment, Curriculum, PE and PSHE. Mrs Brooks is committed to her role of Assistant Headteacher and SENCo at Midfield and to ensuring that, as a school, we give the best inclusive education for all pupils.

Outside of Midfield, Mrs Brooks enjoys spending time with her family, playing board games and exploring London and the surrounding areas.

Mrs Eede - Tree House ARP Unit Leader & SENCO

   

Mrs Eede is ecstatic to lead the Tree House provision here at Midfield Primary School. This is driven by both personal experience as the mum of 3, two of whom have SENd along with a professional passion to teach and develop a “powerful voice,” in the children in her care that is full of both self-belief and confidence. Providing a range of tailor-made experiences, in this world of opportunities so they can develop pride in who they are and what they can achieve.  

Mrs Eede is an experienced Teacher and Leader having worked in schools for over 25 years. In addition to her passion in supporting children with SENd with specialisms in Autism; Mrs Eede also spent many years as a mainstream class teacher, and is also a music specialist!  Mrs Eede is committed to all children having opportunities to achieve and excel and has very high ambitions for the children, staff and families of Tree House. 

As Tree House Leader, Mrs Eede has the joy of working with all of the children and families across the provision and strives to make sure that their experience at Midfield is nothing short of exceptional.

She ensures that each individual child and their families are always the beating heart at the centre of everything the provision does, lives and breathes, adopting the mantra…
