We wanted to raise awareness of ocean plastic pollution so we all took part in a whole-school Science Week project - a bottle cap mural.

The background was painted by the amazingly-talented Mrs Newport, based on the winning design we had from Thomas T in Hedgehogs, Yr3. 

The bottle caps were screwed face down on to the backboard with a small hand-held electric screwdriver, with every child in the school from Nursery to Year 6 having the opportunity to add one or two bottle caps.
